I love historical romance from all time periods. I wanted to enjoy this short story and the bonus books. The speech was inappropriate for a Regency and for Medieval (this title is categorized as both). A good editor would have saved the author embarrassment as "uncle" should be capitalized when used as a name and literally hundreds of exclamation points blur into a sea of exclaiming. It's just silly that Isabella, as the lead character and all thoughts are her own "rising to her graceful tiny feet". Really? How egocentric is this princess? The writing is poor, the storytelling mediocre. Did not finish.
